Today we will simulate using Sodium Chloride (NaCl).

Na+
Sodium Ion (Positive)

It loses an electron to the negative Cathode.

Cl-
Chlorine Ion (Negative)

It brings an extra electron to the positive Anode.

Step 1: Add the NaCl (aq) to the water!
